SCHOOL CLOSINGS
Just to clarify the information in the Parent Handbook; When the Norfolk Public Schools close
there is no school- all classes for NCS. When there is a delay there are no morning classes, but Pre-
K will still be in session.
WELCOME NEW STUDENTS
January brings a new year AND some new students to our school. There will be three new boys
starting on January 2nd in the PRE-K Class and three new students, starting January 3rd, in the 2-
Day Upstairs Class (two boys and a girl). We are just now getting the paperwork from their
parents so there will be more information to follow in a couple of weeks!
THINKING ABOUT KINDERGARTEN OR PRE-K?
ALL 3-Day a.m. and 3-Day Extended Parents; Just a reminder to talk to your child’s teacher if you
have any concerns about your child’s readiness for Kindergarten. Registration for the Pre-K class
opens up to the public on January 2nd!
REGISTER NOW FOR YOUR PREFERRED 2008-2009 CLASSES!
All 2-Day Parents, if you have not yet registered for next year, please do so as soon as possible.
Spots in our 3 Day am and 3 Day Extended are filling up, and we do open registration to the public
on January 2nd where we anticipate those spots to fill immediately. Also any siblings may register
now as well.
