Luckily, we have been given a beautiful white board that can be wheeled in and out and after
vacation will begin again to write down the daily curriculum so you will know what is happening at
school.

ENRICHMENT SESSION #2 STARTS 2/23, and runs Tuesday and Thursday afternoons through
March 11th (12:30 – 2:00). The theme is a Science/Animal one; Learning about Hibernation. 2-Day
children can stay for lunch and then go to the Enrichment Program.
Please let us know if you did not get a flyer about this program.
Inclement Weather: A reminder to check your e-mails early in the morning to find out if there is a
delay or school closing. Renee now receives e-mail alerts directly from school officials and will pass
on the information as soon as it is available. As always you can check WBZ and Channel 4 for
information as well.
Attention ALL Parents:
If you have a job or hobby that you would like to share with the children please let your child’s
teacher know! We have had parents come in to talk about being; a nurse, helicopter pilot, police
officer, beekeeper, and more!
In March we will have a wonderful Dental Hygienist come in to do a program with all the classes.
We also usually have one of the Norfolk Firefighters come and talk to the children and even bring
one of the Fire Engines for them to climb in and out off. We are lucky to have a Dad who is a
firefighter, and a couple of Dads who are police officers. We also have a Dad who is a postal
worker who is going to donate supplies for the upstairs post office.
THINK WARM!...it will soon be time to think about Spring and Summer! After the February
Vacation we will be sending home information about our J-Term Camp that runs in May and June
once the regular school year has ended.
THANKS… from all of us! We know how tough it can be to remember all your children’s snow gear
everyday- on top of everything else. We really appreciate that most of the children are coming in
with their gear every day. It makes things so much easier for them and for us.
